~ for loving parents~ for a retreat to come to away from the city!
~ for the changing of the leaves
~ for friends
~ for music
~ for books
~ for good food
~ for pie
~ for cool winds (when they blow)
~ for warm showers
~ for cold water to drink
~ for cotton pajama bottoms from Old Navy
~ puppy kisses
*I'm sure I can think of more, but what are you thankful for? And not just the typical "serious" things but also the fun quirky aspects of life that make you smile?

~i am thankful for my parents who let me go off on my whims and sometimes go with me.
~i am thankful for my roommates who let me cry in their laps when a stupid boy breaks my heart.
~i am thankful for lovely books that provide a means of escape from reality
~i am thankful for computer games that provide my ADD some distraction while still facilitating me sitting in one spot.
~i am thankful for massages
~i am thankful for fun friends who like to call me and say lets go to london
~i am thankful for more boys to come and ask me out
~i am thankful for holiday movie releases
~i am thankful for friends who are completely convinced that i am going to meet the man of my dreams and keep hope alive, even when i sometimes can't
~i am thankful for cooper, my roommate's cat, who provides unlimited love yet no maintanence b/c he is not my cat
I am thankful:
` that flannel pajama pants were on sale at Wal*Mart this past week for $6.87
` the love of knitting
` that my son hasn't realized that knitting needles can also be used as weapons
` my husband - not perfect, but loving and caring - and funny!
` Thanksgiving leftovers
` And all the other usual stuff to be thankful for (God, family, health, etc)
