A Grrreat Day

So I just have to tell you, my readers, that Saturday was a fabulous day! There is a new development in my life and I have to share a little of my excitement with you! About 2 months ago, Gidget's aunt asked if she could give my number to the son of some people she knew. She thought maybe we would "hit it off" and if not, what was there to lose? Well a few weeks ago he finally got a hold of me (she gave him the house number instead of mine) and we've been talking since then and getting to know each other. We were able to meet on Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful afternoon/evening together. He lives in Horseshoe Bay which isn't exactly close to Stephenville so we had to find a 'middle' point which was Goldthwaite. Not a lot to do there, but it actually worked out because we were able to do a lot of walking and talking! The end result is that we both had a great time and agree that we definitely want to continue talking and seeing each other when we can. At the end of the day before we parted ways, he gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers - very thoughtful and sweet! It just might have been the best first date I've ever been on - and I've been on my fair share! It was a great day.

And to add to that, I'm very happy that the weather has been staying warmer! I'm ready for warm evnings as well but I will settle for sunny warm days for now!
